The cost of replacing the Epson SX115 ink cartridges depends whether you buy original or compatible inks. Although the SX115 uses an economical independent ink cartridge system it doesn’t mean the genuine Epson ink cartridges are cheap, they cost around £30 which is reasonable compared to the cost of replacing cartridges for other printers in this category but the real value for money for the SX115 can be found with the compatibles which cost half the price of the originals. The functionality of the Epson SX115 is impressive on paper and some of its features convert into practice. Printing quality is the strongest point of the SX115, whatever types of documents you’re printing its quality is extremely good for a printer at this price. The SX115’s built in memory card reader enables printing directly from a memory cards but this can be tricky because it has no LCD screen to view the photos before printing. Scanning functions of the SX115 are adequate for most people everyday scanning requirements.
